Somehow I managed to let May slide away from me without a Changing Seasons summary, and here it is already the end of June.
Although so much of what I’ve done this month on the trail has been talked about in earlier posts, I can’t resist the temptation to highlight some more of my favourite photos from June.
I hope you enjoy my month in photos. Click on any photo to enlarge and scroll through the three galleries …
In Toronto on the Waterfront Trail, which is part of the TransCanada Trail …
At the Rockwood Conservation Area with Helen …
On the Petit Train du Nord in Quebec – also part of the TransCanada Trail …
June has been an outstanding month and there’s more summer still to come.

Thanks Karen 🙂
I’m actually a latecomer to the whole outdoorsy thing. I do have a passion for it now, although I still prefer having some kind of ‘canopy’ over my head – a hat with a peak, trees, etc …

Great pictures. And, yes, I too noticed the eyelashes!

I’m not a big beer drinker but sometimes it is the perfect beverage. Your pictures are great and your adventures are inspiring.

I am not a beer drinker at all … but on this trip, I had a beer everyday. There was just something about riding a bike and being outdoors all day then having a beer 🙂

Love your eyelashes, the Adirondacks by the lake, and that clock tower! It has been a great month. I can’t believe it’s just about gone already!

I laughed when you mentioned the eyelashes – I can’t believe someone noticed them in that photo!
I’m sure that everyone who saw me last week on the trail must have wondered about the idiot who needed to put on makeup to ride a bike.
I had lash extensions put on last month in advance of the wedding. I had never tried them before and I love them. The funny part is that I don’t feel anything with the extensions so I forget they are there until someone looks at me strangely … like when I’m cycling 😆

LOL! I wear lipstick hiking, camping, all. the. time! Ask my crowd. So, I get it!
I haven’t tried the extensions, because of the cost and upkeep. I have other high maintenance costs to deal with each month. 😊💄

omg – I’m totally addicted to my lipstick. I carry one EVERYWHERE … even cycling and hiking. I can look a mess – but I have lipstick on!!
I don’t know how long I’m going to keep these lashes. It is a major extravagance but I really do love them now that I have them.

ROFL!!! We’re soul sisters! OMG! No other woman I’ve hung out in photography carries a lipstick in her pocket or bag. I always have one in my pocket, and sometimes a spare in my gear bag.
What is your current fav? Mine are Milani #27, and M.A.C. Fabby. A warm and cool.

My current go-tos are Stila “Jessie”, a Stila Lip Glaze “Berry”, and a MAC “Creme d’Nude”. Actually, the Stila Berry have been my go-to year round for a few years.
Like you I’m ALWAYS carrying one.

This is so funny because I noticed the eyelashes, too. My first thought was, ‘Wow. Joanne doesn’t want to see me when I go hiking’ You look great!

Here’s to an even more fun-filled July – Cheers!

I know that’s a little bit cruel as you are sitting through the first days of winter. If it makes you feel any better, the humidity is pushing temperatures over 40C this weekend. I’m a wilty weed 😏

You’ll need that beer then!!! I really don’t mind winter here; and I definitely prefer it to our humid summers.
