Sugar Loaf – Day 2

This morning’s dawn was wet and drizzly with an outside temperature hovering in the single digits (C) … but we were determined to have our first hike.

Even when you think you know what’s going to happen, Newfoundland weather can still be unpredictable, and so while we planned for a wet day, we had a dry hike.

Today’s photo is from the Sugar Loaf Trail on the east coast.

    • The right gear makes all the difference! We planned for wet and cold. Thankfully we’ve only had to endure cold so far. The rain has held off for us when it mattered πŸ™‚

  1. Look at you two, all decked out in cold-weather gear. Brrrrr.

I don’t suppose you want to hear that it’s 29 in the shade up here in Cobalt? If it makes you feel any better, I swallowed a blackfly this morning while weeding the garden.
